UPCOMING CANCER CARE EVENTS
Wayne HealthCare with the Cancer Association of Darke County holds a cancer support group the first Thursday of every month (except July and August). This is for any cancer patient and their families. This support group is from 7:00 pm -8:00 pm on the 3rd floor at the hospital in the Conference room. Watch your local newspaper for information on the speaker/topic each month.
The Cancer Association of Darke County will hold the following events. All monies from these events go toward helping cancer patients here in Darke County:
- April-Monte Carlo Night
- June-National Cancer Survivors Day Walk
- July-Chicken/Pork BBQ Dinners
- July-Annie Oakley Golf Tournament

Look Good Feel Better Program is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to women cancer patients in active treatment. Free cosmetic kits are provided and learning to use wigs, scarves and other accessories is also offered. Trained cosmetologists teach about skin changes and hair loss and use cosmetics and skin products to make women feel better during a difficult time.
