Wayne Hospital has a commitment to continually investing in emergent technologies and equipment that translates to better care for the patient. Our $47 million expansion beginning this year will enable us to improve our ability to deliver the best of right, close to home.

Beyond the 40 thousand square feet of new space, the new Wayne Hospital will include:

• A state-of-the-art Emergency Center
• Expanded, in-house MRI capabilities
• Improved ultrasound capabilities
• CT Scanner
• Enhanced Digital Mammography
• Filmless Radiology (P.A.C.S.)
• An advanced Electronic Medical Records System and remote secure medical records access for physicians
• Future plans also include purchase of a 64-slice CT scanner with heart imaging capabilities and a Mobile P.E.T/CT for cancer diagnostics.
