The Wayne Hospital Radiology Department is dedicated to providing diagnostic radiology for patients at the Hospital. The Radiology Department operates around-the-clock and features CT Scanning, MRI, Ultrasound, two Mammography units, a DexaScanner, and two Nuclear Medicine cameras. Our CAT Scanner is used for abdomen, pelvic, head, and chest imaging. CAT Scans are often utilized for injuries and accident patients. Our MRI units are state-of-the-art and provide our physicians with non-radiation images of heads, spines, and joints.

Our Nuclear Medicine Department works with our Cardiopulmonary Department to provide the area with cardiac imaging, cancer detection, and abdominal and chest function images. We don't take holidays and we're never closed, so our highly qualified and licensed staff is here whenever needed.

Our nuclear cameras offer the latest imaging technology. We've upgraded our equipment so you get the very best technology available. Our new Ultrasound uses sound waves to create detailed imaging for obstetrics and other diagnostic services. Preventative medicine is an important facet of the Radiology Department. Our new Dexascanner looks for bone loss in patients and we have a portable ultrasound heel bone density machine to help screen for osteoporosis.
