Wayne Hospital's Outpatient Rehabilitation Center boasts more than 10,000-square feet of space designed to make recovery from an illness or accident as complete as possible. Our dedicated, quality staff focuses on helping patients regain skills necessary to make their lives more fulfilling.
Each patient is evaluated by a therapist who designs a treatment program with input from the patient and their doctor. Typically the same therapist works with the patient for the duration of their program.
A wide variety of weight training equipment enables therapists to create a treatment program that best suits each individual patient's needs.
The Center has Darke County's only Aqua-Ciser—an underwater treadmill used to help patients without the stress regular treadmills place on joints and muscles.
The Outpatient Rehabilitation Center features:
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Therapy
- Physical medicine
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Large gym area
- Aqua-Ciser underwater treadmill
- Individual treatment rooms
A simple referral from your doctor can get you started on the road to recovery.
Whether it is an injury from work, sports, or an accident, the therapists at the Rehabilitation Center can help get you back to where you want to be. Our expanded gym area provides an open and bright atmosphere that promotes a positive attitude toward recovery.
