CARDIOPULMONARY DEPARTMENT
The Cardiopulmonary Department at Wayne Hospital provides diagnostic testing and treatment for heart and lung related injuries and illnesses and the latest technology in respirator management.
Services and techniques currently offered include:
(EKG DEPARTMENT)
Telephone transmission of EKG - the patient records a rhythm tracing at home and transmits it by telephone to the EKG Department. After the initial set up, it may be transmitted on an as scheduled basis 24 hours a day.
Cardiac Stress test and Thallium Cardiac Stress test - offered Monday through Friday on a scheduled basis.
Emergency EKGs - offered 24 hours, seven days a week. Routine EKG's seven days a week 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
EEGs - Monday through Friday on an as scheduled basis.
2D Echocardiograms - Only on an as scheduled basis, Monday through Friday.
Vascular Ultrasound and Flow studies - Monday through Friday only on an as scheduled basis.
