Managed by a 12-strong Board of Trustees comprised of community
leaders and advocates, Wayne Hospital has a staff of more than 125 board-certified/board eligible physicians, experienced
nurses/clinicians, 400 support staff and hundreds of active volunteers. In short, we have everything patients and their doctors
need to address primary care situations as well as a full referral base for secondary and tertiary care. Right in Our Community. Given that patient satisfaction is a key to our continued success, we place considerable emphasis on delivering the very best experience to each and every physician and patient. In fact, Wayne Hospital has an impressive nurse-to-patient ratio that is the lowest in the region—an average of 5 patients to every nurse vs. 7 to 1 in other hospitals. In addition, we are a TOP TEN percent performer in the State of Ohio's core measures with a commitment to continued best practice expansion through evidence-based medicine and a top performer in the PressGaney Survey on Patient Satisfaction. |
