Hospitalist Position

  • Provide internal medical services exclusively to inpatients.
  • Must have Ohio Medical license, have completed residency training and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Hospitalist will work 182 12-hour shifts per year.

Radiology Tech Position

This part time position is primary to 3rd shift with weekend, holiday, and call rotation. The individual may be scheduled to other shifts as needed to meet the needs of the department and our patients. This individual will be cross trained within the department as necessary for the smooth operation of the department.   

Qualifications

  • ARRT License required
  • ODH Radiographers License required
  • Licensed in CT required with a minimum of one year of experience desire
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level with little supervision
  • Demonstrate independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
  • Participate in Quality Assurance program.  Responsible for quality control in the technical and clerical area of the department as scheduled or assigned
  • Inform patients of procedures, obtaining medical history, providing explanation of procedures, and answering pertinent questions if possible. Transport patient to and from Emergency Room and Nursing units
  • Maintain adequate records as directed and/or required as well as assist in the development and maintenance of technique charts
  • Initiate necessary procedures during CODE situations
  • Responsible for providing radiation, electrical, and physical protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
  • Assist clerical staff with scheduling, film posting and retrieval, preparing department for next day’s work, equipment and supplies maintenance, and other related duties
  • Assist with clinical experience for student technology, providing necessary background in didactic and practical application for x-ray techniques and practical direction and instruction

Respiratory Therapist

This position is primary to night shift however; the individual will be scheduled on alternate shifts occasionally to meet the needs of the department. The hours and shift schedule may change in the future should the department schedule change.                                                                                                       

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist required
  • Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • NRP Certification preferred, required within six months
  • ACLS preferred, required within one year

Skill, Ability, and Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency respiratory therapy procedures, such as complete patient treatment and rounds, start new treatments, set up equipment ordered during shift, perform arterial blood gas studies, maintain ventilator protocol, maintain proficiency in oximeter
  • Respond to cardiac/respiratory arrest and disaster situations
  • Complete EKGs as assigned
  • Demonstrate knowledge to meet needs of population served, neonate to geriatric
  • Complete all necessary patient charge and charting information, maintaining confidentiality
  • Maintain equipment cleaning and testing
  • Participate in C-section deliveries and newborn care
  • Assist with in-service training
  • Possess mechanical aptitude
  • Physically able to perform the functions of the position
  • Maintain all required qualifications for position
  • All other duties as assigned
